These ingenious pin-on bow tie brooches are one of Andrew Logan's wearable art creations.  He made this one in 2021 and it embodies his joyful vision of the universe.  They are unisex and can be worn with any outfit, or as a substitute for a formal bow tie to add a dash of sparkle.

The silver bow tie features two pieces of silver mirror, set over white resin with a sizeable nugget of pearlescent shell, from Jaipur in the centre.  The mirror and pearl are set into pale resin and with the edges encrusted with mainly white glitter.  The bow tie dimensions are approximately 12  X 3.5 cm at its widest points and it weighs around 37g.
